Meet The Coach

Alessandra is a great listener and observer. I discussed with her the skills I struggled to improve and acquire. Although those skills are important to me, I found the process of improving and acquiring them tedious and frustrating, and couldn't make the progress I wanted. Together we looked at which creative skills I was able to learn and develop in the past, and why I had managed to not give up. Now, when studying something not related to my passions or working on a new language, for example, I am able to find the same pleasure and curiosity I experience when using complex design software.

Due to my legal background and strong forward-looking approach, I’ve always been focused on planning, trying to mitigate the risks and solve possible forthcoming issues. Thanks to Alessandra’s coaching I’ve learnt to stay in the present keeping things simple, to stay more focused on me and to be more aware of my skills. This new mindset is helping me also to be positive: this new approach leads me to reduce the tendency to overthink and worry too much about troubles that may not even arise. Although Alessandra’s questions were apparently easy to address, I found them instead very demanding. I was also surprised by how they put me in emotional troubles. I was puzzled and amused at the same time in light of the reaction and consequent thoughts they triggered in me. I do believe that the greatest benefit of Alessandra’s coaching was to let me be at “the center” of my life and to allow me to pay proper attention to myself and to my needs instead of those of others, without feeling guilty or selfish. Alessandra reminded me that I’m the only one who can find my way and that I do not have to go far away to discover my ‘suitable’ lifestyle. You do not need to look so far away to discover that the easiest the answers are, the better they are for you. Be open and honest with yourself and you will find out that the solutions are, most of the time, already in your pocket. I will be positive and focused on my needs, sharing them honestly and promptly with the people I care the most. As I said to Alessandra, I would like to see myself in the near future “on the road driving a comfortable car that proceeds at my speed, enjoying the landscape with someone beside me.” Finally, entering soon in my fifties I understood that I have to put attention on myself, working on my life and my individual plans instead of insisting on things I can’t change, following my values and my priorities whatever it takes.

Although 2021 was our strongest financial year on record, our organization was not set up for success to achieve our long term vision so I reached out to Alessandra to help me address that. By working with her now I have a clear understanding of the leader I am vs the leader I want to become and how to get there. The learnings I’ve already put into practice to address specific issues all delivered positive outcomes. I am confident the organization will evolve to where it needs to be and can’t thank Alessandra enough for her contribution.

I’m on my first coaching journey with Alessandra. What an amazing experience! Starting from your professional life, conversations can also touch on your private life, although without getting mixed with any form of psychotherapy or analysis: that’s the job of other professionals. A coach won’t help you solve your problems. A coach will rather put you in a position where you are able to immediately adopt the approach that you feel is the right one for you at that moment, and for the goal you have set for yourself. This is a unique journey that I am really happy I have undertaken very naturally and gently. Also, Alessandra is fantastic: a very serious and empathetic professional, she is able to guide you in a discreet way, and then help you synthesize what you really want. By the end of 2021, I found myself feeling stuck in a rut. I couldn't think clearly about what I wanted in life, which was a first in my lifetime. So I set myself the goal of getting a life coach for 2022 after receiving advice around life coaching and I can honestly say that the whole experience has fascinated me. While I knew I had the answers I needed inside me, I didn't know how to find them and was getting frustrated with myself. Without the coaching from Alessandra I know I would most definitely be still stuck in that stagnant place. Despite any nerves or apprehension, you may have about this process, you will be instantly calmed by Alessandra's kind, patient and trustful nature. The safe space she creates is paramount for her and for you to really be your true self. Alessandra has an amazing way of listening so intently while gently supporting you to navigate through any tangles you might find your thought space in. After each session, I could see and feel the mist clearing in my thinking and was so energized by the process. Just after a few sessions, this clarity of thinking and mind appeared which I could implement in my daily life. I am so proud of how far I have come through the process. While the journey is never finished I am so grateful to Alessandra for her patience, her attention, and most of all her coaching. She has inspired me to adopt this type of practice into my life forever.
